CommuniTake Remote Support Application Pre-Installed on Cellcom Israel’s Android Smartphones

World’s first pre-installed remote support application on a commercial Android Smartphone

CommuniTake Technologies Ltd. announced today that its Remote Support application was pre-installed, for the first time worldwide, on commercially available Samsung Galaxy S Smartphones and Samsung Galaxy Tab tablets, distributed by Cellcom Israel, the largest operator in Israel. The CommuniTake Remote Support application allows support representatives to provide support to the handsets from afar for better performance metrics and reducing support outlays.

Pre-installed remote support delivers customer value

CommuniTake Technologies’ pre-installed remote support provides the ability for a device holder to virtually “hand-over” the device to a support representative. This representative can remotely view and operate the phone as if he is holding it in his hands, while simultaneously talking with the device holder. Device holders can maximize the potential value of their modern handset by receiving crisp support, personalized guidance on new features and rapid shift to operate new services. Remote support allows higher customer satisfaction and reduces new Smartphones returns and the need to reach points of service.

“Smartphones are becoming the leading devices sold today in the mobile market. They offer abundance of new features and services which create support challenges,” said Ronen Sasson, CommuniTake Technologies CEO. “For that, remote support has become a common practice. It improves the customer experience and reduces operating outlays for operators. This is the way to support Smartphones today and we probably provide the most advanced and complete remote support platform for mobile devices. Our patent pending technology allows the best remote support features set and the best market coverage, free from OTA protocols limitations.”
